数万名民众聚集阿布扎比特别组织的第一次“F1节”盛大的庆祝活动上，阿联酋总统谢赫・哈里发・本・扎耶德・阿勒・纳哈扬殿下（SheikhKhalifabinZayedAlNahyan）向这些民众宣布了这一消息，阿布扎比王储谢赫・穆罕默德•本•扎耶德•阿勒•纳哈扬殿下（SheikhMohammedbinZayedAlNahyan）出席了这个盛典。这也是有史以来除F1大奖赛之外、最大规模的F1赛车和车手的聚会。

The2009Formula1™AbuDhabiGrandPrixtrackisbeingconstructedbyALDARProperties,oneoftheUAE’sleadingpropertydevelopmentcompanies,anddesignedbyrenownedFormula1TMcircuitdesignerHermannTilke.

2009年F1阿布扎比大奖赛的赛道由阿联酋最大的房地产开发公司之一ALDARProperties承建，世界顶级的F1赛道设计师赫曼・蒂尔克（HermannTilke）担任赛道设计师。

Alreadyunderconstruction,thetrackissituatedona2,550hectare,naturalleisureisland,YasIsland,situatedontheeastcoastofAbuDhabiandonlyminutesawayfromtheexpandingAbuDhabiInternationalAirport.
